We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is God’s revelation to man, is eternal, and is the final authority in the life of the believer.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is God’s revelation to man, is eternal, and is the final authority in the life of the believer.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death—as our substitute—through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, conforming them to the image of Christ. We believe in a separate and subsequent impartation available to all believers: that is, believers shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit and thereby empowered to be witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the accompanying gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that God created man, in His own image, to have a relationship with him. Sin entered the world through Adam’s transgression, but all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, incurring the penalty of death (spiritual and physical).
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, which cannot be augmented or substituted by one’s good works. It is God’s grace received by faith in the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross and His shed blood.
We believe that through water baptism we participate in the Lord’s death, burial, and resurrection. We believe that all believers should follow in the example of the Lord Jesus Christ by being baptized. For the new believer, it is an outward and public confession of their faith in Christ Jesus.
We believe in the resurrection of the saved to eternal life, and the resurrection of the lost (those who reject the lordship of Jesus Christ and His substitutionary atonement) to everlasting punishment and eternal damnation in the lake of fire.
We believe in the unity of the one true church—the whole company of those who have turned from dead works to put their faith in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.
